Natural Harvest Art
creations are an Heirloom. With proper care they will last forever.
How to care for your Felt Hat:
I do not recommend wearing your hat in a heavy rainstorm. Light rain and snow is no problem. Should you however run into a gush of rain suddenly just get home and set your hat on a
surface to dry. You may want to give your hat an all-over coat of hairspray while still wet, and rub it in with a paintbrush to reinforce the stiffness. I have had good experience with Aqua Net or L.A. Looks. When your hat dries it will be just as beautiful as ever.
How to care for your Slippers:
Hand washing or dry cleaning is recommended, but if you must wash your slippers in the washing machine, place them inside a pillowcase and use a
rubber band around the opening. Wash in cold water, gentle cycle only. When slippers are wet they can be
stretched or put on your feet to size to your feet. Air dry only.
How to care for your Sweater:
Hand wash in luke warm water. Hair & Maine shampoo is the best. Leave your sweater in the soapy water for some time. Squeeze the water out gently and rinse two or three times, also in luke warm
water. You may want to add a shot of vinegar in your last rinse to give the fiber some luster. Squeeze the water out gently and don't wring the sweater. Lay your sweater on a large bath towel, roll it up and squeeze to remove excess water. Repeat as necessary. Lay your sweater on a flat surface to dry.
How to care for your Beanie:
Place your beanie inside a pillowcase and use a rubber band around the opening. Wash in cold water, gentle cycle. Of course you may dry clean.
How to care for your Saddle Blanket:
Soak your saddle blanket in hot, soapy water. Use liquid soap. Let sit until water cools off. Squeeze water out and rinse several times. You may add vinegar to your last rinse to add luster to the fiber. Squeeze out excess water and hang over the fence to dry. |
